Dr Barbour teaches on several courses on the CREST renewable energy masters course.
Energy Storage
Dr Barbour contributes to the Energy Storage module, teaching the lectures on Thermal Energy Storage (TES) and Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES).
Solar Power 1
Dr Barbour contributes to the Solar Power 1 module, teaching the lectures on Solar Thermal devices (including flat-plate collectors) and Passive Solar Design in Buildings.
Solar Thermal Systems
Dr Barbour leads the Solar Thermal Systems module. This module includes solar thermal systems for power generation and direct heating applications, solar thermal considerations in the built environment, passive building designs for heating and cooling applications and heat pump systems.
